Meet Dr. Susan Hepner-Dion
Dr. Susan Hepner-Dion is the owner and clinical director of Audiology Specialists. Dr. Dion has been a practicing audiologist for over 27 years. Her goal is to provide an unparalleled level of care and ultimately, help all her patients enjoy the quality of life they so richly deserve. Dr. Dion specifically tailors each patient’s appointment to fit the individual’s situation and hearing needs. She focuses on listening to and educating her patients and their families. Her expertise as a clinician coupled with her contacts within the hearing device community enable her to develop innovative hearing solutions that fit her patient’s budget and lifestyle.
Dr. Susan Hepner-Dion received her clinical Doctorate Degree from the AT Still University Arizona School of Health Sciences, her Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Pathology and Audiology from the University of Florida and her Master’s degree in Audiology from Hofstra University. She is a Fellow of the American Academy of Audiology. As part of her commitment to innovative, patient-centric service, Dr. Dion is a lifelong learner and frequently attends training and continuing education programs. To that end, she attended Emory University’s Tinnitus Retraining program.
Having worked in a number of medical settings, including Lenox Hill Hospital and a private Otolaryngology practice, Dr. Dion approaches patient care with experience, knowledge and compassion. In fact, her desire to provide dedicated, comprehensive Audiologic treatment led her to open her own practice.
